Charles Harris, President & CEO
Charles Harris founded EFI Polymers in October of 1993. As President and CEO, he brings over 19 years of management, operations and technical sales experience to the company. Charles entered the specialty chemicals and polymers business working for Exxon Company USA in New York and New Jersey where he focused on chemicals sales to corporate accounts, end users and distribution. Later, he worked in chemical distribution for Univar in the Rocky Mountain West building the firm's specialty chemicals business in the coatings, inks and adhesives industry. During this time he served as President of the Denver Chapter of the National Paint Coatings Association.
Mitch Horwat, Vice President of Sales
Mitch Horwat has over 22 years of experience in engineering custom formulated resin systems. Prior to becoming a principal partner at EFI Polymers in 1999, Mitch worked in a variety of industries including the automotive, composites and electrical/electronics for leading multi-national companies. He currently manages EFI Polymers’ domestic and international business development. Mitch has both Electrical Engineering and Speech Communications degrees from Penn State University.
Charles Schroeder, VP Technology Epoxy Formulations
Charles Schroeder has thirty-five years experience in formulating epoxies and urethanes for electrical and adhesive applications, thermoset polyesters for FRP laminating and electrical, and waterbourne coatings and adhesives. He has a BS in Chemistry, University of Missouri at Rolla. He is a member and past president of the Rocky Mountain Society of Coatings Technology and member of the American Chemical Society.
Charles Stevens, National Account Manager
Charlie Stevens has over 25 years of direct customer contact in the chemical industry. His background transcends from feed stock raw material, through intermediates and on to formulated systems. His background with global market leaders underscores his knowledge with coatings, composites and electronics (potting/encapsulating). Charlie resides in the Chicago area and joins EFI Polymers as a National Account Manager, responsible for key accounts and new business / market development.
