Newly Approved EFI Polymers Products Extend
in-service Life for Union Pacific Railroad Components
Working jointly with our distributor Encore Railroad Products, EFI Polymers gained approval for a new fast curing repair compound for rail infrastructure maintenance and repair. This first generation product will extend in-service life for valuable rail components and eliminate expensive down time and service repairs in the future. We love to innovate and bring novel technology to mature businesses. Our next generation of products are in field trials scheduled to conclude in mid 2010 and will bring instant cure technology to improve processing and reduce quality issues related to set times and processing.

| EFI Product Receives UL and C.S.A. Acceptance for Critical Potting |
30211 - 40002 received U.L. and C.S.A. approval for use in micro power converter applications. Last month, C.S.A. approved the use of our 30211 - 40002 electrical potting system for this important new application. This system offers the best fit solution for micro power potting as it protects complex electronics in hostile outdoor operating environments. Obtaining C.S.A. and U.L. acceptance opens the door for use of this compound for many new power management products that require rugged outdoor performance.

| Dual Cure UV Epoxy Produces Instant Success |
EFI is currently testing a new dual cure, UV potting system with the world’s largest solar panel manufacturer. The system is designed to pot critical junction box connections on each solar panel. Total WIP cycle time is under 45 seconds from dispense to cure eliminating the costly off-line cure processes associated with typical two part silicone systems.
